1 Þis sind þie Namen þer Sone Israels, þe to Egypt mid Jakob gingen, ælc mid seiner Familie: 2 Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah; 3 Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin; 4 Dan and Naphtali; Gad and Asher. 5 Þat Ofspring Jakobs reimde sefentiȝ in allen; Joseph was ær in Egypt.

6 Nu starfen Joseph and alle his Brœðer and alle þer Knerisn, 7 ak þie Israelen gewæstmbærden sweiðe; hje maniȝfaldeden micle, iehten in Reimen, and wurden so getælfull, þat þat Land mid hjem gefylld warþ.
