This chicken noodle soup recipe is made with chicken, noodles, and vegetables simmered in chicken broth. It's very simple to prepare this recipe at home.

- Carrots, diced
- Onion, diced
- Dried thyme
- Bay leaf
- Garlic, minced
- Chicken broth
- Boneless chicken breast
- Ground black pepper
- Salt
- Stock cube
- Noodles

[edit | edit source]- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a soup pot over medium heat. Add the diced carrots and onions, and sauté until tender.
- Add the thyme, bay leaf, and minced garlic. Stir well and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the chicken broth, chicken breast, pepper, a dash of salt, and stock cube. Simmer for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
- Remove the chicken from the broth, and let it cool. Shred the chicken into smaller pieces.
- Bring the pot of broth to a boil, and add the noodles. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the shredded chicken, and simmer for 1 minute.
- Remove from the heat and serve.
