Stress

[edit | edit source]

The stress (S) outcomes focus on how to deal with perceived or real mental pressure and tension.

There are three stress outcomes:

  • S1: Describe stressors.
  • S2: Discuss physiological, psychological and social aspects of stress.
  • S3: Evaluate strategies for coping with stress.

Note that any example responses are not necessarily worth full marks, but exist simply to provide an idea of how an example looks.

To what extent do biological, cognitive and sociocultural factors influence health-related behaviour?
